In February 1983, the KRA was commissioned to construct the Equestrian Park for the 1988 Summer Olympics.
After the successful hosting the Olympic equestrian competitions, the Park was converted to the Seoul LetsRun Park in September 1989 for thoroughbred flat races.

  • Geandstand capacity : 2 buildings, 6,393 persons
  • Saddling area : 2 building, 22 stalls
  • Stable area : 7 buildings, 550 stalls
  • Racetrack(left-handed) : 1,600m(L) ; 25m(W)

The main facilities of the Jeju LetsRun Park are as follows

  • Track

    The Jeju LetsRun Park is equipped with one sand track. The circumference of race track is 1,600 meter, and 20m in width.

  • Grandstand

    It has two grandstands accomodating 6,400 racing fans and the stable area can has more than 500 ponies.

  • Stable

    The Park has lots of attractions that capture people's notice.Its features include horse zoological garden where visitors can see various breeds of horses from one of the smallest horses "Shetland Pony" to one of the biggest horses Clydesdale which weighs about one ton, children's pony riding where people can experience the joy of riding and a "luck" theme house where people can see the symbols of fortune from all over the world.
